  2.                       Auto-Install Now Available!

  4. If you're starting your very first BBS, QuickBBS has made it easy for
  5. you to get started. Just follow this procedure:
  6.  
  7. 1.  Put all of the QuickBBS files in a directory anywhere on your
  8. system. The BBS will be set up in a directory called "QuickBBS" on the
  9. drive you designate.
  10.  
  11. 2. Using standard DOS commands, move to the directory where the QuickBBS
  12. release archives are stored.
  13.  
  14. 3. At the DOS prompt, type "INSTALL [v] [d] [Enter]" to begin the
  15. installation process. [d] represents the drive where you want the
  16. program installed (do not include a colon); [v] represents the version.
  17. If you have 640K of RAM, use [E] to install the Executable version. If
  18. you have less than 640K, use [O] to install the Overlay version (that's
  19. the letter O, not the number 0). If you're not sure, use the Overlay
  20. version. To install the Overlay version on drive C:, use the command
  21. line "INSTALL O C," while "INSTALL E D" will install the Executable
  22. version on Drive D:.

  24. 4. Follow the onscreen prompts, and start BBS'ing!
